Here from the Lokfelder Damm you have a wonderful view over the Neuhöfer Teich and the panorama of the Reinfeld church district. The dam dams the water from the Bischofsteicherbek to the Neuhöfer Teich. This is one of the 60 fish ponds that the Reinfeld Cistercian monks created for fish farming between the 12th and 16th centuries. The name of the pond is derived from the Neuhof Vorwerk, the monastery's first and oldest farm. The Vorwerk once stood where the high-rise rises today.
