    Hiking

The Chimney Peak Wilderness is a rugged and mountainous desert landscape that got its name for Chimney Peak with an elevation of 7,871 feet (2,399 meters). Vegetation mostly consists of pinyon pine with areas of sagebrush. There are scattered springs and streams like Fox Mill Spring. The Pacific Crest Trail passes through a portion of this wilderness on its way to the Domelands Wilderness.
