I discovered the Razou railway station by passing through the hamlet "Gare de Razou". When I met a resident of the nearby farm, she told me that it was the second hamlet created by the passage of the train called "Le tacot du Morvan" which went from

I read in a book that she showed me "that several craftsmen and merchants immediately settled there. Two inns, Auguste Marchand and Cl. Galin, a grocer Baudin, in 1906 it was the installation of a merchant of materials, Etienne Beaugeon who came from Gibon, a hamlet of Cervon. His father, a lime-burner, sent him lime and also stone which he baked directly at La Gare de Razou. The Beaugeon family remained until in 1922 from where she left for Gibon to take over the family suite. In 1936 we note a wheelwright. Alphonse Chaumien the husband of the station master."
