The elliptical sundial, by the sculptor Ettore Colla, is an astonishing iron sculpture, as well as a mammoth reinterpretation of the instrument for measuring time which, having come into possession of the entire chromatic scale, with this representation decided to paint Gibellina as a tear dispersed in the the immensity of the sea.
