    Opposite the Mother Church stands the Orphan Conservatory. It was founded in 1691 by the abbot Don Vincenzo Blundo, this pious institution, like others similar, came to alleviate a dramatic problem of the past centuries, represented by the high number of mothers who died in childbirth. Needy orphans were welcomed, raised and educated for housework in these charitable institutions and finally provided with a dowry for marriage. External: it has a valuable portal, with a Baroque Immaculate Conception in relief. Inside: there was a canvas of the Immaculate Conception, painted in the manner of Olivio Sozzi, now removed and kept in a protected place. This female orphanage with its small church replaced a previous conservatory, which was located nearby, founded in 1631 by the archpriest Don Antonio Brandis. In the premises of the former Blundo Orphanage, today a nursing home for the elderly, the following works can be found:
    -Ecstasy of Santa Rosalia, Oil on canvas, 17th century;
    -Depositions from the cross, oil on canvas, 17th century;
    -Assumption of the virgin, oil on canvas, XVIIth century;
    - Immaculate Conception, oil on canvas, XVIII century;
    -Portrait of Giuliano Truglio, oil on canvas, 17th century;
    -Portrait of Don Vincenzo Blundo, oil on canvas, 19th century;
    -Maria al Tempio S. Gioacchino and S. Anna, oil on canvas, XVIII century;
