Wallbergbahn Cable Car & View of Lake Tegernsee

Not only is it easy to get to the Wallberg, but you also have a wonderful view of Lake Tegernsee during the cable car ride.

We used the cable car to go back after a great but strenuous hike (from the valley station to the mountain station). Alternatively, you can of course also use the cable car for an ascent and descent. However, I would not recommend going up the mountain and then walking the tour back down. The path is consistently wide and gravel, but there are more than 800 hm, which can be quite hard on the knees / joints.

The Wallbergbahn runs daily in summer from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ascent and descent (adults): 25 euros.
Ascent or descent (adults): 14 euros.

Such restaurants are often very bad in terms of value for money. Here, however, there are "good" and tasty portions at a good price.
