Best Mountain Biking Routes to Sollingturm

Tips

  • Here you should better be free from giddiness: The last steps are narrower and that is not for everyone. But you will be rewarded with a great view!

  • The Sollingturm stands approx. 34 meters high on the 444 meter high Strutberg above Sohlingen. The stone tower was built in 1934/35 as the "Hitler Tower" and contained numerous National Socialist inscriptions and swastika symbols, which were removed after the end of the Third Reich. In the course of these measures, the tower was given its current name. Further information on the history and construction of the Sollingturm can be found here: sohlingen.de/index.php/sohlingen/sollingturm
