South Cottonwood Creek follows alongside the Colorado Trail through the valley before the trail shoots back up the mountains in both directions. There is lots of wildlife in this area so tread lightly and only camp in established areas.

Though this is a flat section of trail, it is really rocky and rooty so watch your step when running through.
