L'Aratro (or Aratro di Didone) in Gibellina is a large sculpture-work and stage machine created in 1986 by the famous artist Arnaldo Pomodoro. Born for the show La tragedia di Didone during the historic Orestiadi of Gibellina, the work combines modern geometric forms with the Sicilian agricultural landscape to symbolize the work of the land and the rebirth of the city.

L'Aratro (or Aratro di Didone) in Gibellina is a monumental installation and stage machine made of copper, iron, and plaster, created in 1986 by the renowned sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro. The work was created for the play The Tragedy of Dido, Queen of Carthage by Christopher Marlowe during the historic editions of the Orestiadi di Gibellina. It features the typical geometric imprints and cuts of Pomodoro's poetics, with a play of solids and voids that merges sculpture with the rural landscape.
