The oak lake Klostersee is about 300 years old pedunculate oak. It is listed in the list of natural monuments of the district Ostholstein.
The 25-meter-high tree with a circumference of 7.80 meters and a crown diameter of 25 meters is located in the park behind the farm Klostersee in Grömitz-Grönwohldshorst between Cismar and Kellenhusen. The oak belongs with two others (near Güldenstein and Neukirchen) to the thickest oaks in Ostholstein.

    It's worth a visit :-)
