We reached the Klingenberg am Main on our 6th day on the saddle and are happy to have gotten a cream from the pharmacy that protects our saddle contact points on the body. Sweating and rubbing of the inner upper thighs causes unwanted wear and tear ON and IN the skin, causing pain. Good cycling shorts (WITHOUT underwear) and a good lubricating film between skin and trousers help. There are many different options. We use "Linola breathable protective balm", in the 50ml version, while driving and in the evening after the shower....
