A very beautiful (albeit small) beach on the rocky Algarve, right next to the Hotel Suites Alba Resort & Spa. Can be very stormy at times! There's a small beach bar (O'Pirata). It's frequented by locals. When the sea is calm, there's a rocky passage to the neighboring beach (Praia da Estaquinha). Excellent! Certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve. In good weather, it can get very crowded.

2017: The bar unfortunately burned down in May, thus destroying some of its atmosphere.

2019: The bar was rebuilt.

2025: The bar won't open until early June.
