Bütow Castle was a castle built by the Teutonic Order in the town of Bütow, which was then part of the Teutonic Order State. It controlled the route from Danzig to Pomerania. The complex is located in Hinterpommern, today in the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland. The castle was begun in 1398 on the orders of Grand Master Konrad von Jungingen and completed in 1405 under his successor Ulrich von Jungingen. (Wikipedia)
