As the name says: park with country house.
Purchased at the end of 2022 by the Province of West Flanders from the noble Geelhand de Merxem family and since April 1, 2023, it forms an extension of the Kemmelberg Provincial Domain. This made the total domain about 190 hectares in size.
The originally Swedish chalet disappeared with World War I. After the war, a new country house was built. Notice the Swedish colors blue/yellow. Immediately reminds you of the Swedish multinational IKEA.
