Casa Rosa is conceived as a multiple environment for the city of Salvador. The premises have been adapted to host artistic and cultural activities of different languages and origins, such as music, dance, theater and circus performances, design events, gastronomy and other expressions of the creative economy, free-standing or integrated. The curatorship focuses on contemporary production of artistic, technical and aesthetic quality, with a special focus on local groups and artists. Casa Rosa is a space for the free creation and transfer of creative content, always stimulating debate on topics such as: diversity, accessibility, socio-environmental responsibility and equal development.

The building that now houses Casa Rosa was once called Casa Branca and Palacete Rosa. It was built in the first half of the 20th century by Arthur Palácio for soirées. After operating as a residence for a few years, the property underwent a renovation process, completed in 2019, preserving its original features and adding the most contemporary landscape technologies to its internal environments. Thus, the space resumed its mission of housing art and culture. Casa Rosa is part of Bahia's heritage and is located in an area strictly protected by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of the State (IPAC).
