Tips
The Tanne plant, codename Tanne, is a former explosives factory on the eastern outskirts of Clausthal-Zellerfeld at the Middle Pfauenteich. It existed from 1935 to 1944 and was the third largest explosives and ammunition factory in the German Reich during the Nazi era. The plant was mainly used to produce TNT, but in later years it also filled bombs, mines and grenades.
