Today, Dubrovnik's most valuable history documentary is kept quietly and dignified in the Sponza Palace: the Dubrovnik Archive with materials from Dubrovnik's oldest history and its region from all past centuries to the present day. The palace itself is in its own way one of the most valuable documents of this archive. Unharmed in the earthquakes, he has survived the ages to show all the magnificent palaces the once mighty and rich Dubrovnik had before the cataclysm.
