Raja Old Believers House of Worship (also Raja Old Believers Church) is an Old Believer House of Worship in Raja Village, Mustvee Municipality. The first building of the Old Believers' prayer house was reconstructed from a residential building in 1879. In 1902 the reconstruction of the sanctuary began, the initiator and major donor of which was the founder of the famous school of icon painting, Gavriil Frolov. The construction work was completed in 1910, while the decoration of the church was completed in 1920. The church was founded by Gavril Frolov, who made a huge contribution to the project.During World War II, on August 30, 1944, the church was destroyed by fire. The villagers managed to save the unique library, founded in 1718 and containing more than 200 books and some icons. A bell tower with nine bells also survived (later one was stolen, now there are eight). After that, the faithful began to use a small wooden house of prayer, completed in 1903, which was used during the winter. In 1990 the 10 m high bell tower of the Raja prayer house was restored. In 1999, the bell tower was included in the National Register of Cultural Monuments. The bell tower was used by the local churches for prayer (Wikipedia - translated).
