A church in Oberlauchringen is mentioned for the first time in 876 AD. mentioned. The Oberlauchringen parish was founded as an independent parish in 1621/1622 by the Counts of Sulz. After the terrible Thirty Years' War, the high altar was consecrated in honor of Saint Andrew in 1656. The parish celebrates the patron saint annually on November 30th. Today's St. Andrew's Church was completed in 1837 in the late Classicist style.
