Built in 1927 on Lake Barlineckie in a unique Alpine style in Pomerania
At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, Barlinek, situated on the beautiful Barlineckie Lake, became a popular resort in this region. Numerous hotels, boarding houses and restaurants were built in Barlinek and its vicinity at that time. The growing popularity of Barlinek as a resort meant that in 1927 a municipal swimming pool was built at Sportowa Street. A characteristic object that was built at that time was the building of the bathing resort built in the Alpine style. Buildings built in this style were rare in Pomerania and Neumark. In the building of the bathing resort there were bathing pavilions and changing rooms.
The bath building has survived to our times. Currently, it houses the Pod Sosnami Pension. There is also a pier next to the complex.
