The main attraction of the Villa Comunale is the Botanical Garden, which houses particular and exotic plants. Along the avenues we find numerous specimens of luxuriant palm trees, ficus trees, magnolias, banana trees, pepper, rubber and camphor trees and the bottle tree. Among the rarest plants you can admire some specimens of Auricaria, including Auricaria bidwillii and Auricaria excelsa, the Chorisia insignis (or anti-monkey tree), the Ficus elastica (or rubber tree), the Ficus Macrophilla, the Nolina recurvata (or elephant's foot), the Dracaena draco (or trunk of happiness), Judas trees, carob trees and numerous species of flowers.
