Located in the city center, the park, with an area of just over two hectares, was established in the 1840s as an urban landscape park. Magnificent oaks, elms, limes, maples and chestnuts grow here. The original layout of walking paths has been preserved to this day, with a monument commemorating the victims of the Franco-Prussian War in the center. The main plinth was probably dismantled just after the Second World War, while two cannons were erected, against which the inhabitants willingly took pictures. In 1970, they were also removed, and a boulder with a plaque was placed in their place with the following inscription: "On the 25th anniversary of the liberation of the Choszczno county. To those who returned these lands to their mothers. The society of the Choszczno land. Choszczno, February 1970." In 1995, a second plaque was unveiled, this time with the inscription "Inhabitants of the Choszczno land on the 50th anniversary of post-war Choszczno".
