Camasunary Bay is a secluded and picturesque cove located on the Isle of Skye. Known for its natural beauty, the bay is framed by the majestic Cuillin Mountains to the north and The Small Isle across the water. It boasts a pristine white sandy beach, crystal-clear waters, and a rich diversity of wildlife, offering visitors a tranquil retreat from daily life.

Hiking

Camasunary Bay is an idyllic spot, with views across the sea towards Rùm and inland to the majestic mountains of the Black Cuillin. The bay can be reached via the coast walk from Elgol or across rough moorland from Loch Slapin. It's a great place to wild camp, while there's also the New Camasunary bothy, which replaced the original bothy after it closed in 2016.
