The name "Predator" probably comes from the word "trapeznaja," meaning refectory. Construction began after 1911 and was probably not completed due to the necessity of evacuating the nuns to Russia in 1915. In the same year, the building was taken over by the Germans and housed an economic office. In 1919, the former monastery fell into the hands of the Salesians, and after the Salesian sisters arrived in Różanystok in 1922, they established a boarding school there. During World War II, "Predator" took over quarters for Soviet soldiers, and then was occupied by German troops. Between 1945 and 1954, it served the Salesians again, and from 1954 it was state property. First, it housed a girls' boarding school of the Agricultural School Complex, and later, among other things, a school canteen and after-school club. In 2000, the building was handed over to the Salesians, who, after renovating the interior, established an educational and resocialization center for boys there." (zabytek.pl accessed July 27, 2025)
