The first information about the existence of the church in Nowy Dwór dates back to the beginning of the 17th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, a wooden church was built, demolished in 1924. The parish was liquidated and the faithful were assigned to the parish in Jaczno. In the years 1931–1939, services were held again in Nowy Dwór in a substitute premises, and in 1939 a chapel was arranged in the parish house.
In 1955, the current brick church was built, and in 1956 the parish in Nowy Dwór was reactivated.
