The tower house (rarely also: Friesdorf Castle and Turmhof) is a courage house in the Bonn district of Friesdorf on the corner of Annaberger Straße and Im Bachele. It is one of the oldest surviving residential buildings in the Rhineland and is a listed building.
The tower house was built in the 12th or 13th century by the von Friesdorf family and was designed as a knightly estate. It later came into the possession of the Abbey of St. Michael in Siegburg, which gave it as a fief, including to von Belderbusch and von Schall. In 1830 the property was inherited by Baroness von Boeselager. During World War II, the house was badly damaged in a bomb attack on December 21, 1944. During the reconstruction, the roof shape was changed from a hipped roof to a tented roof.
