Attention, the path crosses roads every now and then where you have to give way and in some places it winds around train stations, here the path is quite narrow and oncoming traffic is seen very late.

Pre-RAVeL built on the old L39 railway line, mainly on stony or hardened earth road. To the north, via the road, you can reach the terminal of the three borders. In Plières you can take the Pré-RAVeL L38 towards Liège. In Moresnet, you can also reach the three-border terminal via the Preuswald forest or take the Pré-RAVeL L39B towards La Calamine. The pre-RAVeL L39 stops in Montzen.
