Chichester Canal is a ship canal and leisure waterway linking the historic city of Chichester to the sea. A narrow towpath runs alongside the canal, part of National Cycle Network route 2 which follows the south coast. It's a well-surfaced section made up of compact gravel.

Enjoy a scenic and peaceful stretch of cycling leading you to a basin on the edge of the city centre. It's popular with pedestrians so you may need to use your bell and slow down at times.
