If you cross the Gazellenkamp, whose name fits Hagenbeck's zoo, you find yourself in the Stellinger Feldmark, a hilly area with a very rural character - popular with hikers and walkers. And because even the smallest hill seems like a full-grown mountain range to the people of Hamburg, the area is also affectionately called Stellinger Schweiz. From there it is only a stone's throw to the Niendorfer Gehege nature reserve, which offers almost 150 hectares of space for local recreation.

Nice little area with plenty of space for everyone. As long as cyclists and dog owners are considerate of one another, pedestrians can also get by.

The Stellingen field is scenically attractive with distinctive hills, meadows, dense woodland and the Geelbek stream, creating an Alpine atmosphere in Hamburg. The hills offer impressive views of the landscape of "Stellingen Switzerland". A varied playground with an obstacle course, cable car and various play equipment is a meeting point for children of all ages. Picnic tables on a light plateau offer adults space to grill and chat.
