It functioned as an Orthodox church until 1939 and was an access church to the parish in Bóbrka. During World War II, the Soviet army turned it into a cinema. After the war, it was turned into a grain warehouse for a nearby production cooperative. After the warehouse was closed down in 1956, the church was renovated and from 1957 the building served as a branch Roman Catholic church of the parish in Uherce. (...)
