The entire area of the village is covered with a system of treadmills, pumps and pipes used for the preliminary processing of crude oil extracted here. The first kopanki (pits for extracting oil using buckets) began to be dug in the village in 1864. Over time, the so-called "canada", i.e. oil extraction by drilling. Oil was extracted in this place until 2005.
