On the Danish side stood the same guns. With the exception of a section of 5 kilometers in the middle, the passage of ships in the Skagerrak could be prevented with this pincer. The 5 kilometer wide corridor, however, was equipped with thousands of mines, so that a passage through it was almost impossible!
