Nature and the Isar are beautiful in the Ettlingen area.

Left towards Landau a.d. Isar runs the Isar Cycle Path, a paved path that is partly broken up and perforated where weeds grow out!

If you drive the route on the right side you can drive it on the top of the dam, but there are wooden barriers here so that no car can drive on it.

Either get off and push through or drive around sideways.

Below the dam there is a gravel-gravel road that is sometimes uncomfortable to drive because the gravel is deep in places or there are large deep potholes.

And you should also note that there is a gravel pit where there is dredging, and therefore there is truck traffic that can dust you down!

Quite a nice section of the Isar cycle path. Can also be ridden easily with a normal trekking bike plus luggage. But with some bad sections of the bike path, I would have liked to have had my mountain bike.
