Tenmile Range Grand Traverse endpoint

Embark on a moderate hike up Peak 10 via Country Road 751, a route that covers 3.0 miles (4.8 km) and climbs 1962 feet (598 metres). You can expect to complete this ascent in about 1 hour and 54 minutes. As you climb, you will traverse open ski terrain before reaching the treeline and entering the open tundra, where you'll find expansive views of Breckenridge and the Blue River valley. The trail passes by ski lifts and lodges, leading you to a telecommunications tower situated just above the historic ruins of the Briar Rose Mine.

Plan your visit for when snow skiing is not in season, as this is the only time the trail is accessible. Be aware that Country Road 751 is an unpaved road open to other highway-legal vehicles, including Jeeps, so you might encounter off-road traffic during your hike.
