    The Schwanheimer dune is a 58.5-acre inland dune in the west of Frankfurt-Schwanheim and since 1984 a nature reserve. In addition, since 2003 it has been designated as a protected area under the EU's Fauna-Flora-Habitat Directive. The area immediately southeast of the Industriepark Höchst is a popular recreational area, also for the 22,000 employees of the industrial park.
