The former Forsbach train station was located at this point; today only a memorial stone remains, which was placed by the Dörper Einigkeit village community in 1994.

Forsbach station was an extension of the Cologne-Mühlheim and Bergisch Gladbach railway line. Later through the expansion via Forsbach, Untereschbach and Immekeppel to Lindlar.

This place is also very suitable as a rest stop for families with small children. There are enough benches with tables that are slightly shaded by the surrounding trees. Remains of the train station's air raid shelter can still be found directly in the adjacent forest. Due to the fact that the Königsforst was used as an ammunition storage facility during the Second World War, there are a few other buildings of this type to be found.
