Running
Walking around the Imperial Palace is very pleasant because there are no traffic lights and the asphalt path was specially created for walkers and runners. One lap is exactly 5km, so you could easily run 10km or even a half marathon. You can leave your things at the starting point; in general, nothing is stolen in Japan. However, there are no vending machines, so you should bring your own drinks, especially on warm days, and as usual take your own rubbish home with you.
