    The remains of a Douglas DC-3 that crashed on November 30, 1954 are on a yellow blazed trail past the summit of Mt. Success. It is worth a visit!

    This trail is not too tough to find, but since it is not a normal trail, be prepared to journey through a lot of close trees & branches!

    Running

    Until 1936, this mountain was called Ingalls Mountain and then renamed to avoid confusion with nearby Mount Ingalls. In 1954, a plane crash occurred on the 3,565-foot summit. The seven passengers survived the crash, but two of them later died because help did not arrive in time.
