The church was erected in the 13th century by the foundation of Wojsław Borek, the owner of the village. It was a single-nave building with a rectangular chancel, made of granite fieldstones. From the end of the 18th century it was devastated. Its perimeter walls, up to 7 meters high, have survived to this day.
