Hohenzieritz Castle, her father's summer residence, was always the main destination of the three family visits of Queen Luise of Prussia, a nee Duchess of Mecklenburg from the House of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. Luise died here on July 19, 1810. The room in which she died, which was redesigned as a memorial in 1813, rearranged in the style of the late 19th century and restored in this style for several years, is a memorial today.
