The old wooden bridge leads over the White Elster and is the only wooden bridge of its kind preserved in Germany. Its construction is comparable to the famous Chapel Bridge on Lake Lucerne. It is a listed building and was voted the most beautiful bridge in Central Germany in 2007.

The historic wooden bridge with a total length of 71m is one of the last remaining covered wooden bridges in Germany. It is a listed building and was voted the most beautiful bridge in central Germany in 2007. Unfortunately very busy, pedestrians should be careful.
