Bird watching hut De Kiekkaaste in Nieuwe Statenzijl is the only bird watching hut in the Netherlands that is located outside the dikes. To get to this photogenic viewing hut, you first walk along a relatively narrow boardwalk. It is advisable to park your bicycle for a while and walk along the boardwalk.
