This bridge has undergone a lot of transformation since the first one build back in 1230 but had been rebuilt and destroyed many times through religious and political wars as well as through natural desasters. The current version was finished back in 1928.

Zyttrum is a clock tower containing an impressive structure which was originally built in 1450 and like the Reuss Bridge, it has been destroyed and rebuilt several times.

We used to drive through the old town by car and over this bridge. Nowadays it is possible to go by bike and for residents... Beautiful view of the old town and the Reuss.
