The Vliet is an artificially dug water canal in the Dutch province of South Holland and part of the Rhine-Schie Canal. The Vliet flows from Leiden, where the Trekvliet flows into it, via Voorschoten and Leidschendam-Voorburg as the Delftse Vliet via Rijswijk to Delft and flows into the Schie. The Schie flows into the Maas in Schiedam near Rotterdam.
