There is a shelter with a fireplace and a picnic table here, near the lake. The shelter area is not right by the water but there is a few meters of a steep and rocky slope that leads down to the water. There is also an outhouse nearby.

There is a good amount of flat grassy ground around the shelter, but not really any good trees for a hammock.

The grass and nearby dense vegetation seems to attract mosquitoes to the area.
