Next to the finish arch of the Vasaloppet is this traditional red house from 1850. It is named after Nils 'Mora-Nisse' Karlsson, the most famous and successful competitor in the history of the cross-country ski tour. In 1943, the Swede won on his debut. In total he participated ten times, of which he won nine times.
