The small church of San Francesco is owned by the Constantini family.
Little is known about the date of this small chapel's foundation: it is first mentioned in a sales contract dated September 29, 1396.
The interior, a single room, is very simple: on the right wall of the nave, we see the Lourdes grotto, built in 1913 by the then sacristan Fedele Siopaes to house a statue of the Virgin of the Gardena school.
Of undoubted artistic interest are the 14th-century frescoes on the back wall of the presbytery, the work of a learned, but not local, painter active in the second half of the 14th century. They depict three fragmentary figures of saints (St. Bartholomew, St. Matthias, and St. Jude Thaddeus) separated by round arches resting on small columns: they are most likely the remains of a larger fresco cycle depicting the apostles.
On the altar are the statues of St. Francis, St. Anthony of Padua, and St. Bonaventure of Bagnoreggio.
