The lovely town of Braemar has some decent places to eat burgers, salad, meat pies, fish and chips and much more. There is also an outdoor shop that provides trekking meals, apparel and equipment as well as camping gas. The caravan camping is located at the southern part of the town.

Hiking

Braemar is a good place to base yourself for hiking in the area and access to the southern Cairngorms. There is a Hostel, Hotel, Camp site, Cafes, Take Away, and an outdoor shop. The public toilets are in the centre car park, and from there everything is within walking distance. Many walks can be started from here, or from nearby car parks such as at the Linn of Dee, Inverey, or Glenshee.
