The best way to approach this Munro is with a bike. Cycling up the Glen is pleasant and makes the day more interesting. After crossing the river over a bridge you come to a smaller bridge crossing a stream. This is an ideal place to leave the bike and continue on foot.

When I hiked Càrn a'Chlamain I approached on foot on the left side of the glen and walked back on the other side. This created some variety in the day.
