A monument to a railwayman, which was erected in the market square in 2017. It is intended to remind us that the first group of Poles to arrive in Stargard after its capture were railway workers. For years, Stargard was called the "city of railwaymen", and the local Rolling Stock Repair Plant was the largest employer in the city.

The Railwayman Monument in Stargard (actually an outdoor sculpture) is located on the Old Town Market Square in front of the Stargard Commune Office building. The figure, unveiled in May 2017, refers to Stargard's rich history as an important railway junction and commemorates the pioneers who rebuilt the city after World War II.
